Welcome to Blak Ink, where storytelling gets real, raw and unapologetically Blak!
Poetry is power and this night will prove it. Laniyuk and Evelyn Araluen bring words that cut through silence, challenge the status quo and hold deep to culture, memory and resistance. Their poetry is sharp, lyrical and unflinching; rooted in Country, identity and the strength carried through generations.
This is storytelling that doesn’t ask for permission. It reclaims, disrupts, and demands to be heard. Come for the poetry, stay for the power and leave with a renewed appreciation for the force of Blak feminist storytelling in shaping the world we live in.
Join us for a night that’s as bold, fun and fierce as the writers themselves. Blak Ink is here to amplify First Nations voices, share stories that need to be heard and do it all with a whole lot of soul!
