November 2021

Yarn Bombers EOI are now open!

Have something you want to write?

Or have you been working on something but not sure what’s next?

It could be prose or poetry or spoken word, fiction or non-fiction.

We are seeking a group of new Victorian based writers who will be invited to attend a free masterclass in short fiction with an award winning facilitator. The workshop will take place in early February, 2022. After developing a 3 minute piece of writing, you will read it at the Blak & Bright First Nations Literary Festival over the weekend of 19 – 20 March, 2022, for which you will be paid $100.

To apply, send 200 words of your writing to monique@blakandbright.com.au by EOD 30 November. We will let you know by the end of November if you have been selected.
