Skye is an emerging Dulgubarra-Yidinji creative and journalistic writer living in Naarm. But this doesn’t mean that she’s new to writing – in fact, she’s been a copywriter for over eleven years. She has written for platforms like ABC, Employment Hero, and Staunch. by Awesome Black. In February 2023 she founded her own copywriting and marketing agency, BluSkye Marketing.

You may see her at various open mic nights performing yarns that will make you laugh, cry and wonder why she’s admitting to these things in front of a live audience. She is currently developing her first novel, which is a YA fictional work that speaks about mental health, trauma, Blak crises, and experiencing fatphobia in the medical industry.
