This event will give you on a captivating taste First Nations plays where gritty, funny, and poignant narratives take centre stage. These plays, enriched with strong characters and dynamic dialogue, showcase the power of the monologue at various script junctures – be it the opening gambit, the turning point, or the poignant denouement.

Actors Shontane Farmer and Nelson Baker will deliver monologues from the following playwrights: Kodie Bedford, Anita Heiss, Nathan Maynard, Kirli Saunders, Jane Harrison, Nakkiah Lui, Ursula Yovich and Alana Valentine, Andrea James, Daniel Riley, Amy Sole and Richard Frankland
