I met a hero today. And because I have zero social grace, but a keen urge to explore different versions of ‘Blak Words Live’ – including non verbal, I pushed this Blak & Bright tote across the Big Esso table and onto writer, director, DOP and composer Warwick Thornton. Then, proceeded to reel over ‘Samson and Delilah’ and how few words were spoken in a story that is so very huge. (I still don’t fully understand how he makes these films but no other filmmaker has impacted me quite so much.)

Anyway, Warwick Thornton is a King, and he let me take this picture.
