Pitch Blak @ OUR WORDS 2024

August 2024

20 SEPT 2024: Meet publishing experts and funding partners in Adelaide. Think of it like speed dating (with stories).

Pitch Blak @ OUR WORDS 2024

FRIDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2024 | ADELAIDE FESTIVAL CENTRE

Blak writers in South Australia, this one is for you! We’ve been running Pitch Blak sessions in Naarm since 2016 but now we’re taking this show on the road. In partnership with the Adelaide Festival Centre’s OUR WORDS, we’re doing a Pitch Blak session in Tarndanya.

Whether you’re a novelist, screenwriter, or poet with a finished piece or a work in progress, this event connects you with publishing experts and funding partners to build your networks and your knowledge. Think of it like speed dating (with stories).

This is a chance for First Nations writers to meet representatives from Magabala Books, Wakefield Press, South Australian Film Corporation and more.

Pitch Blak is a Blak & Bright event, produced for Adelaide Festival Centre’s OUR WORDS.
