The Indigenous voice entered the Australian children’s book industry in 1964 with the publication of The Legends of Moonie Jarl. Children’s Research Librarian, Juliet O’Conor will describe the significance of this book and share a range of Indigenous authored and/or illustrated picture books into the 21st century.
