Dr Sandra Phillips is Lecturer in Publishing and Literary Studies, School of Media, Entertainment & Creative Arts in QUT’s Creative Industries Faculty. A former industry-trained book editor, Sandra trained and worked with Magabala Books and University of Queensland Press, and later managed Aboriginal Studies Press. Sandra is active in the Indigenous writing and publishing sectors as a public speaker and as a judge of the annual David Unaipon Award.
