Kamarra Bell-Wykes is a descendent of the Jagera and Butchulla people of South-East Queensland. She first became a member of ILBIJERRI in 1999, and since then has served on the board and worked in administration and project management roles. She has also written a number of ILBIJERRI’s health-education shows including Chopped Liver, Body Armor and North West of Nowhere and received the prestigious Greenroom Gerda Nicholson Emerging Actress Award in 2003 for her role of Ann in Stolen.
